Your Mac comes packed with a perfectly fine calendar app, but it’s lacking advanced features, multiple ways to view your calendar, and external service integration.
This tutorial demonstrates how to sync your Google Calendar with your Apple computer. If you want a desktop way to access your calendars offline, or you just prefer the desktop interface, take a look at this quick video. Gmail and Google Apps users can easily sync their Google Calendars with their Mac by following these simple steps. It's important to keep in mind that any calendar found in the My Calendars section of Google Calendars will sync with your Mac, along with your Contact's Birthdays and Events. 1.) Printing. After I got to know it a little bit, I found I like everything about it so far. The only real thing I really don't like is that I have to pay for the 'Premium' package just so I can customize the colors that I can use. Why should I have to pay just so I can change the color from blue to green or red?
That's all I want to do and I do not need anything else that the Premium version has to offer, I just want to customize some colors and that's it. Other than that one complaint, I recommend this app. I was interested to try One Calendar as it seems to work just like my phone's calendar - merging all my calendars into one (which it does.nicely). The problem is that you're given the option to choose a theme in the initial setup.
Once I finished the setup, I hate the way the theme works with the calendar - it's very hard to see the entries. But in order to change the theme, or color, or virtually anything, you're notified that your trying to access a Premium feature. Why give a choice during setup if you can't change it after setup! I would probably have given this a higher rating if I had only a default white background. Instead, I'm uninstalling.
Submitted on 5/3/2018 Review title of JIMONE CALENDAR IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT I USE THIS APP FOR ALMOST EVERY SIGNIFICANT EVENT THAT REQUIRES TRACKING. THERE ARE COPIUS NOTES THAT CAN NOT BE RE RECOVERED UNLESS THE CALENDAR HAS AN ARCHIVE FEATURE THAT SPANS MORE THAN 12 MONTHS. THE PROBLEM, AT SOME PRE-DETERMINED TIME (12 MONTHS) OR SO, THOSE NOTES AND EVENTS DISAPPEAR. I NEED TO SAVE THEM FOR LONGER PERIODS OF TIME THAN ALLOWED IN THE CURRENT CONFIGURATION. ARCHIVE CALENDAR WOULD BE A GREAT IMPROVEMENT.
MUST HAVE AN ARCHIVE FUNCTION OR BUST. ABSENT THAT FEATURE, WE'LL HAVE TO MAKE NOTES ON PAPER. 08NOV2016, THE DEVELOPERS MUST NOT ALLOW MICROSOFT TO TAKE FULL CONTROL OF THIE SOFTWARE.
IT HAS REMAINED A ROBUST USER FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT UNTIL THE INTRODUCTION OF A RECENT WINDOWS 10 SOFTWARE UPDATE. THANKS AGAIN FOR MAKING THE CALENDAR USEFUL. Submitted on 1/8/2019 Review title of DaveAn Excellent Calendar It's straightforward and easy to use.
It syncs fine with Google's gmail, and so with any other calendar that sync's through gmail also - which is nice. If you want 'task' capability you need to install the 'One Task' app. Sometimes it takes awhile to implement improvements (e.g. A print option took nearly 2 yrs.) - but they do happen!:-) Bug Fix Win 10 - If the app is pinned to the taskbar, occasionally the picture on the taskbar button will disappear - the button is there, but as a blank square? This fix worked for me - 1. Stop the app.
Unpin the app from the taskbar. Start the app from the start menu.
Use the app print function to print a selection as a.pdf file. Close the app.
From the start menu select the app and select 'Pin to Taskbar'. It then re-pinned it as a new One Calendar icon with picture on it. I have stayed with One Calendar over many years and am continually very happy with it! I really recommend it.
